Guided Trout Fishing Tours

Angling Packages

Graeme is available for day trips in the Canterbury region out of centres such as Ashburton, Methven, Timaru, Geraldine and Temuka, but specialises in multi day trips ex Christchurch or Timaru. Trips may be tailored to suit individual tastes but typically include a few days in Canterbury and the West Coast terminating in Christchurch. Expeditions to further away destinations are also possible, eg Nelson and may include helicopter fly-ins if desired. Flexibility is the keynote. Note: At least three days of fishing is needed to fully appreciate the multi-day options.

The Canterbury/West Coast Experience

Canterbury West Coast Combine the best of both Canterbury and the West Coast in a multi-day trip ex Christchurch. Traverse the stunning Southern Alps and experience the amazing variety these two regions offer. A huge range of angling options is available.

The Nelson Experience

Nelson The Nelson Region (my old stamping ground) is regarded by many as the best brown trout region of New Zealand. Nelson regularly records the highest sunshine hours in the country and is blessed by scores of wonderful rivers and streams. A trip here is a never to be forgotten experience. I know every inch of many rivers. A helicopter fly-in to Kahurangi National Park would be a highlight of such an expedition.

The McKenzie Country

McKenzie Country The McKenzie basin inland from Timaru boasts some of the finest brown and rainbow angling in the country. A typical trip originates in Christchurch or Timaru and may include fishing on a range of small streams en route to one of a number of towns in the area. Multi-day trips to this region offer a huge variety of fishing and unbelievable scenic grandeur. Air New Zealand Link offers up to five flights per day direct from Auckland or Wellington to Timaru.
